  3. Holy cow. Treefort Music fest was a success and more importantly, Ultra fun. It was so crazy to see all of the projects I have been working on throughout the year in one place. On chests, wrists, heads, around necks, in windows and above bands and people love.  Holy cow. Treefort Music fest was a success and more importantly, Ultra fun. 4. Julia Green is the best! She is the Great Grand Architect. Check out these rad props based on my drawings.

From her blog (which you should follow if you are tumblerer):

Treefort!!!! Sorry my tumblr is just full of Adventure Time right now (I’m not actually sorry) but I have been swamped with creating decorations for Boise’s brand new, super mega giant music festival, Treefort Music Fest. I am in charge of decorating the festival and in charge of all of my awesome volunteers who have helped me make these items.

The fort structures were completely made by a small team of my volunteers. I just showed them what I wanted and they did the rest BECAUSE they are just that f*cking awesome.  Seriously, it has been so great to be able to have volunteers who work their asses off in hopes of making this festival extra special. I will post photos at the end of the week with everything painted, trimmed, built, finished, etc.

I made this.

So many bands that no one will read all of their names.

  7. This is a zoomed in screen capture of one of the T-shirts I am working on. It is basically a cleaned up version of one of the Treefort website banners. Enjoy! 8. I am working on some new Treefort stuff. This will change a bit, but I like where it is at.
As I am drawing this stuff I have this weird little narrative in my head about these giants luring people with music to this fort where they then feed off of the festival goers. This is in no way the official stance, story, or purpose of Treefort Music Festival. Enjoy. I am working on some new Treefort stuff. This will change a bit, but I like where it is at.

  9. Again, I made this poster for the TREEFORT MUSIC FEST launch party with YOUTH LAGOON. I am pretty proud of this.

This commemorative poster will be available for purchase at the show. Right now I am not sure of the price yet. It will be a 16x20 (3 color with a fade) screen print printed by Deadwood Designs.

I can not wait to see them printed. I am stoked to see the blown up half tones. I love that texture.

    EDIT:

I was able to mix some ink and watch a few of these babies get printed up today. Scully from Deadwood Designs does some good work.

-If you are tired of these poster posts you will have to forgive me. I may have one more left. :)

  10. I sat in on a Treefort planning meeting and realized that this thing is huge. I am stoked to be a little part of it. Logo!
